Job Description

Our Quality Assurance group ensures every single material inside our products is manufactured, processed, tested, packaged, stored and distributed aligned with our incredibly high standards of quality and meets all regulatory requirements. Partnering across our internal manufacturing facilities, external contract manufacturers and suppliers we create an interdependent global manufacturing network committed to deliver a compliant, reliable supply to customers and patients on time, every time, across the globe.

Position Description:
  • A successful candidate will be required to Perform the inspection, labeling and/or sampling of incoming biological raw materials; the sampling will include ID testing via Raman scan.
  • The Raman device will also be used to establish material methods as required. Additional inspections of finished products (pharmaceutical, biological, or medical devices), packaging and consumable components will be part of daily tasks. The candidate will maintain completed inspection files and databases as required. Perform Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) inspections of finished goods and detailed review of manufacturing records, as required.
  • This job requires outstanding organization skills and an excellent Attention to Detail. The candidate must have a working knowledge of cGMPs and understand regulatory requirements from the USDA, DEA, and FDA. Other QA duties and projects will be assigned as needed.


Education:
  • A BS or BA in a Biological or Chemical field is preferred, or Associates and two years experience, or a High School Diploma 5 years experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Pharmaceutical Warehousing.


Basic equirements:
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and software programs
  • Must be detail orientated and have good planning and organization skills to handle multiples projects and/or tasks.
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to lift and move 40 pounds
  • Must be able to work on feet for up to 6 hours daily
  • Must be comfortable working alone and within a group setting
  • It is preferred that the candidate have working knowledge of SAP inventory control operating system
