Projects Quality Manager (PQM) ensures that every project follows the defined delivery methodology and meets quality, compliance, and customer expectations, The role includes creating organizational processes, enforcing compliance across projects, and managing external ISO audits.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create, document, and update company-wide SOPs, workflows, process maps, and quality manuals.
2. Standardize templates, forms, checklists, and quality documentation.
3. Conduct internal audits to evaluate compliance with QMS policies and procedures.
4. Identify process gaps and lead Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
5. Maintain document control and ensure proper version management for all QMS documents.
6. Deliver QMS and ISO awareness training to all employees.
7. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and process standardization.
8. Ensure all projects fully comply with the corporate QMS, SOPs, and approved quality processes.
9. Validate that project quality plans and procedures align with company QMS requirements.
10. Conduct QMS compliance audits at project sites.
11. Support project managers in applying QMS procedures during planning, execution, and closing.
12. Ensure all projects follow the company's Project Management Framework
13. Ensure compliance with internal policies (finance, procurement, cyber, HSE, etc.) and customer requirements
14. Review project deliverables (technical documents, designs, commissioning plans, FAT/SAT documents).
15. Validate that quality control checks are applied by engineering and execution teams
16. Ensure internal QA gates (Kickoff → Design → Execution → Handover) are followed correctly
17. Identify gaps in PM/Engineering practices and propose corrective actions.
18. Update SOPs, templates, workflows based on lessons learned
19. Validate quality of project deliverables (design, engineering, testing, commissioning, documentation).
20. Perform deep-dive analysis on red or high-risk projects.
21. Support PMs in preparing customer reports, governance decks, and audits.

Qualifications

You must have:

• Degree in an Engineering discipline; Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Communications or similar.
• 8 - 12 years of experience in Project Management project delivery experience (PM, QA/QC, Project Controls).
• PMP is a must - or any other Professional PM Certification (PRINCE/AIPM/..)
• Experience in audits, quality management, or delivery excellence roles.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing cross-functional teams and facilitating community engagement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated experience in safety and safety management on large commercial and infrastructure projects
• Proven ability to develop and lead a team
• Capacity to deliver against multiple and competing objectives.
• Demonstrable customer relation skills
• Proven commercial/contractual acumen
