Safety & Maintenance Manager
Position Summary
Adecco is partnering with a leading produce supplier to hire a Safety & Maintenance Manager to lead safety, compliance, and facility maintenance efforts within their food warehousing and distribution operations.
Location: Yonkers, NY
Compensation Rate: $75,000-$95,000 Annually
Key Responsibilities
Lead and maintain food safety and quality programs, including HACCP and regulatory compliance
Conduct food safety audits and manage recall procedures, inspections, and customer-related safety issues
Identify, prioritize, and oversee facility, equipment, and vehicle maintenance and repairs
Develop and deliver employee safety training (new hire and ongoing)
Respond to OSHA inquiries and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Flexible schedule required, including nights and weekends
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in high-risk, high-volume operational environments
Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred
Food safety experience preferred
Willingness to obtain certifications as needed
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong communication, organizational, and contractor negotiation skills
Pay Details: $36.00 to $45.00 per hour
