Safety & Maintenance Manager

Position Summary

Adecco is partnering with a leading produce supplier to hire a Safety & Maintenance Manager to lead safety, compliance, and facility maintenance efforts within their food warehousing and distribution operations.

Location: Yonkers, NY

Compensation Rate: $75,000-$95,000 Annually

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain food safety and quality programs, including HACCP and regulatory compliance

• Conduct food safety audits and manage recall procedures, inspections, and customer-related safety issues

• Identify, prioritize, and oversee facility, equipment, and vehicle maintenance and repairs

• Develop and deliver employee safety training (new hire and ongoing)

• Respond to OSHA inquiries and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Flexible schedule required, including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in high-risk, high-volume operational environments

• Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred

• Food safety experience preferred

• Willingness to obtain certifications as needed

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Strong communication, organizational, and contractor negotiation skills
  

Pay Details: $36.00 to $45.00 per hour
